9/14/14: Stampede get three shutouts to start the fall season

The Stampede shut out their first three opponents in early Norcal State Cup qualifying and fall league play. The locals first edged Woodland 1-0 in the midday heat when Niya Allen scored on a left wing blast. The following two games featured five goals by Jordan Davis: a hat trick vs. Placer United and two more vs. American River FC with assists from Allie Belafsky, Ainsley Carroll and Lily Byrne. The Stampede's defense remains dominant as they continue to stonewall opponents, helping keeper McKenna Lutzker retain her clean sheet during fall play.
